I'd even venture to note that the tittle was misleading about the Ibanez AF75 mentioned by the OP : http://www.ibanez.com/products/hb_d...&cat_id=7&series_id=114&data_id=19&color=CL01

Regarding any Ibanez Artcore which is actually semi-hollow (like the AS73)... if its stock PU's are a 15.6k bridge and a 8.4k neck model, they are useable as a cheap equivalent of the Hot Rod set: once uncovered, dewaxed, fitted with NS baseplates and AlNiCO mags, they should sound decent and versatile enough.
