Help! JB magnet question.

Guys,

I've been running a JB/Jazz set in my Fender for awhile and i love them, but i have a question. I use a PRS 5-way Megaswitch for PRS splitting options so i flipped the magnet on the JB like your supposed to, but my green and black wires were reversed from the factory, so my question is..... is the magnet flip still necessary if the green and black wires were reversed?

The idea is to get all 5 settings in phase and full and fat sounding...right? Do you have that? Or do you get a thin out of phase tone in some settings? If you do, reverse the magnet of the JB back again. Lew

Actually.... i find positions 2 & 4 a little bright and thin, that's why i asked. i guess i'll flip it and find out.
