Pearly Gates neck and Custom Custom compliment each other well, and blend well too with full coils and split.

I may go with the CustomCustom first. I seem to remember trying it in a Les Paul a long time ago and thought it was a little over-the-top fat, but I don't remember what I had it in there with. The Duncan Website recommends it as a higher power alternative for the PGn. I have another LP set up with Whole Lottas, and I don't want to repeat that. I know I will end up getting the Slash Bridge too eventually, just out of curiosity. If the specs on the slash neck didn't look a little too hot, making me think it would be a little dark/muddy, I might try the whole set.

Listen to your LP..is it fat sounding? Does the current pickup sound fat? Or what would you change about the current pickup? More power? More mids (etc)?

Burstbucker 3 is like a PGb knockoff. I have one in an SG, it's not my favorite in a bright guitar. An Antiquity might work as well. The Seth neck in my SG is pretty smooth. Not sure you would like a Seth bridge.

I went ahead and installed the Pearly Gates Neck, just to remind myself what it sounds like. It sounds a lot smoother and more tame in this guitar than I remember it. I stuck a Dimarzio Air Zone in the bridge just to have something different in there, and it actually does really well. Listening to the Pearly Neck, now I am leaning toward the Slash bridge. The pearly Neck sounds so smooth, It makes me think I may need to check the values of the volume pots. I remembered it being more aggressive than this.

I already tried the Seth set in it, and while they were great, I like them better in my PRS guitar.

The Slash bridge is a great pickup, and certainly very smooth.
