Best pickup recommendations for blues to metal and any other advice you could offer me :smash: I'm excited about this project and I'll be working closely with a luthier on this so as not to screw it up :smack:

Wow, that's a hell of a steal, the neck and the body for $200. Since this guitar is going to have a Floyd, I will suggest the Blues Trembucker for the bridge. It's the most versatile pickup I've ever tried, it can handle just about any style. For the singles, I like the Alnico 2 Pro model, as well as the SSL-1. If you want a good noiseless single coil, try one of the models I have listed in my signature below. After doing a ton of research, I decided that those three pickups are the absolute best noiseless single coils on the market. Of course, I've heard nothing but rave reviews for the new prototype Duncan noiseless singles, but I'm not sure how long it'll be before they hit the market.

I'm still open to suggestions for other pickup configurations
