My friend is getting more into guitar these days, and part of that will be getting a decent pickup to do a bit of justice to his axe.
Hes got a japanese Jackson King V, with the sharkfin inlays and twin humbuckers and licensed floyd. Currently he has duncan designs in it.
The guitar itself needs a bit of work to get it back in proper working order because he let it slide for a while and sit around collecting dust and crap. But it will be fine, all it needs is a decent pickup.
Some of his favourite types of music are things like early metallica, slayer, anthrax...you get the picture.
I am going to suggest a Duncan Distortion for the bridge, and i dont think he cares too much about the neck yet. I was also thinking about a full shred...because hes a shred head and all. What do you think about that?
