Help me decide for my Dean time capsule v

Will try and make this as easy as possibly. I want to replace the super distortions in my Dean v. They’re just not doing it for me. Want something with moderate to high output. Here’s my tastes:

Different usa Dean v with jazz/jb: love this set, I’m a pickup snob and originally thought I’d pull them for something boutique- boy was I wrong. The neck is “bubbly” sounding to me for lack of a better word (Strat like almost) and the bridge is perfect puts a smile on my face every time through a marshall

Lp standard with slash 2.0: really dig the bridge, good crunch. Neck is a little muddy but still like it

dime ml with super d neck and Duncan d bridge: I don’t love this setup but don’t hate it either. The Duncan distortion is ok but I don’t like it nearly as much as the jb. Can’t put my finger on it but doesn’t have the same juicy sound as the jb

evh usa Wolfgang: really dig these pickups I think they’re aii’s. Super high output and the neck is way hotter than the jazz but kinda reminds me of it with a similar eq. Dig the bridge but it’s kinda a one trick pony but that’s fine it rocks that trick!

hopefully that gives you some context of what I like.

I’m thinking full shred in the neck to get that “bubbly” tone in after and then am between either the demartini bridge or custom 5. Suggestions?

The Full Shred is probably the brightest Duncan neck pickup...I don't know if it is your definition of 'bubbly'. If you want a moderate output in the bridge, look at the Hybrid, or the full Custom. Both will sound different that what you have, and feel less compressed. The Custom is hotter than the Hybrid, but both sound great with any amount of gain.

It does sound different...but still squarely like a JB. I was never a JB fan, so the times I've heard it, it still sounded like a JB and I still didn't like it.
