Help me identify these Celestions and find out when my cab was made, please?

Ok, so I've had this old Marshall JCM800 1960AV 4x12 for a number of years, but it's been awhile since I've opened it up and looked at the speakers. They're hard for me to identify because I'm not terribly familiar with Celestion's labeling system. The picture should explain it all. I guess the older ones are labeled "Marshall by Celestion"? I'm thinking they're Vintage 30s based on the "1960AV" but I'm not 100% sure. I guess only the modern ones say "Vintage 30" on them. These don't say the wattage or anything, just 8 ohms.

Also, can anyone help me figure out when the cab waw made, going by the serial #?

What wattage is written on the plate showing the serial number?

That falls into the different versions of V30 thing. There's three different versions, there's a thread on here about it somewhere.

The only thing I can find about dating a speaker cabinet is to look at the date on the speakers. I think your speakers are stock, and if they are, that should tell you roughly when the cab was made, but it's not an exact science.

If it has stereo/mono switching its post 1989. If not it is 87,88, or 89. Marshall's version of the V30 is 70 watts, instead of 60

It just has the single round plastic jack cup in the back. So I guess it's most likely '87, '88, or '89 then. Interesting. :scratchch
