Help me Identify this pickup!

Well i just bought this combo below.

I paid in the combo half of what is worth it...

The neck pickup is labelled ATPR-1....but it has no cover....

Because this ATPR1 is a tele pickup....

Someone must have removed it before you got it.

Yes it's an alnico 2 pro tele neck with a removed cover.
this isn't a bad thing, 'cause the pickup is already on the dark side.
The (duncan) brass cover takes a lot of highs.
So if you readd a cover, get a nickel silver one. that would be my suggestion

Yes it's an alnico 2 pro tele neck with a removed cover.
this isn't a bad thing, 'cause the pickup is already on the dark side.

Yes..my doubt is if the pickup without the cover is like this.

My original fender is not ... it's just the wires and the cover on top.

BTW , can I remove the fender cover and put it on the seymour?

Yes but you can also buy a german silver aftermarket cover.

looks like a tele neck pup with the cover removed. definitely not a strat pup. the top bobbin is a clear give away that its a tele neck pup
