Help me select 3 SSS pups for my G&L Legacy

Hello,

I am a newbie here so go easy on me. I would like help from you in selecting an entire Seymour Duncan SSS pup set for my G&L Legacy.
SD and DiMarzio have so many Strat S pup offerings that I am getting really confused and wasting tons of time listening to Youtube clips.

My G&L has a Rosewood fingerboard and standard Alnico pups. Quite frankly, I am not impressed with the stock G&L pups at all. They hum loudly and the sound is too tinny and thin. They have no punch. I know it probably has a traditional Strat sound and all but I really want much more out of it. My other Guitar is a Flying V with DiMarzios which I love.

I want the versatility to play Blues (Clapton), Heavy/Texas Blues (SRV) and Classic Rock (Blackmore, )

I want NO HUM and a significantly fuller, meatier tone with more punch with no muddiness when overdriven. I want a bridge pup that creates a lead tone with real impact and presence not a wimpy tinny sound. For the neck I would like a full sweet sounding pup that has really good punch and great tonal clarity on chords and single notes. I want the mid pup to be balanced with punch, clarity and give me more versatility. I hope to be able to roll off the volume and get more Strat like tones from all three. I am not trying to stray too far from the traditional Strat sound. I guess I want a Strat on steroids.

What three Seymour Duncan S pups should I go with ?

Thanks very much

Re: Help me select 3 SSS pups for my G&L Legacy

I have a G&L legacy Special that came with the twin blade pickups.

I changed them out for Custom Stack Plus (STK-S6) for the neck, Classic Stack Plus RW/RP in the middle and Vintage Hot Stack Plus (STK-S9b) for the bridge and I use this set with a Eric Clapton mid-boost.

I have another one set-up similar (With mid-boost) but with SSL-5’s

Both are great guitars - the envy of a lot of guitar players.
