I'm not at all sold on the Carbon Comp hype! ...(they) are great if you like a little bit of extra hiss in your circuit

...depends on the guy that owns the wah and sometimes what they want?

I actually just keep the old parts in it. I used only old crap pedals anyway, so they tend to already have (cool!) rackety hiss-y parts.

I never happy with anything off the shelf and I learned most of it from google and my own experiments.

Stu Castledine (sp?) has a cool site that shows mods. mods.

I Leave the 1/2 watt CC resistors in the old wahs also(Unless they're way out of spec)....They look cool and they keep the vibe for sure....On the reissue stuff I Like using Metal film and Carbon Film together, unless the customer wants CC?

The right pot and inductor are priority and after that it's the right components and the value tweaking...Fasels aren't my favorites however...The Fulltone inductors were and are the best inductors I've tryed and I've tryed alot of inductors...I.E. The "03" TDK,Fasels,Teese,etc....The red fasel sounds better to my ears, but YMMV?

The Stack Of Dimes,"03" and Halo inductors are the best inductors though...No question in my mind!
