Help!!! Need advice!

Hi.

I have a schecter c1 plus with duncan designed pickups that come on stock... I'm looking to get a John mayer tone or fender sound! Anyone have advice?

I know I can't get a schecter to sound like a strat... I wish I could. Anyone have advice?

Get a strat. The second best option is to get a bucker and split it for SC tones. A JB or DiMarzio Super Distortion should do that well

lol! I would get a strat but I'm on a budget... lol. The Duncan designs that are on there already have the split option. I'm just not completely happy with the tone!
