Help needed with blender pots

I've got 2 types, an Emerson no load pot

How do I go about wiring the Emerson in my 1 volume 2 tone, Fender strat with a 5 pos super switch, and. Lil screamin Demon neck, hot rails mid, & JBjr bridge.

I want to put the Bourns in my Squier strat that has 1 vol 2 tone, a set of jazz pickups and a simple 3 way switch.

I don't want to lose anything that I have, but won't the Bourns essentially render the 3 way switch in the Squier redundant oŕ useless?

The Emerson is fairly easy. I would assume you want to blend the bridge in, when neck, or N / M is selected, or blend in the neck, when the B or B / M is selected. Which of course means, losing one tone control. The Fralin diagram is one of the easiest to understand. Make sure to use the two lugs of the blend pot that are "open" when turned in one direction.

The Bourns blend pot, or fader, is bit more tricky. Typically, you'd use this with dual humbuckers, to "fade" from one to the other. What is it you want to do with the other Strat?

Edit: I see. Your other Strat has dual Jazz's. Let me think a bit on the best way to implement the fader.

You understand what I'm trying to do, I guess losing a tone pot on the fender wouldn't be the worst thing, but I'd like to get around that if I could. Could I save the tone if I squeezed in another pot location?

Which tone would it be anyway, neck & mid,, or bridge?

The logical thing to do, rather than having 4-knob Strat, would be to get a dual concentric 250k pot for the middle hole. That would allow Vol / Tone 1 / Tone 2 / Blend.

The stacked 500k seems to be easier to find than the stacked 250k, but I know they're out there.

They would be assigned however you want: stock N tone 1 / M tone 2, or N / M tone 1, B Tone 2. Whatever you want.

I don't see a good way to incorporate the Bourns Fader with the stock 3-way, but I've got a cool way to do it with a slightly modded Superswitch.

(I could do the mod for you for free, just to see someone else try my mod.)

You don't need a switch with a center-detent fader between the pickups. If you wanted either/or, you'd have to implement another switch to choose between the fader and the 3-way.

Cool, I've got both Oaks Grisby super switches and Schaller mega switches, whichever would work better. I've probably got whatever caps and or resistors needed also.
