Help Needed !!!

Hey guys,

I'm considering buying the following Jackson... http://www.jacksonguitars.com/products/view_specs.php?full_partno=2911001503&name=Pro+Series+DK2L+Dinky%26trade%3B+Left+Hand

Could anyone give me some info regarding the pickups that come with the guitar ? I'm a metal fan, following bands like Pantera, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Iced Earh...etc... Are they suitable for this style of music ? Are there better alternatives ? If so please let me know ! I was thinking about getting the dimebuckers but because I need a bridge, middle and neck pickup that would be kind of odd right ? Or if not, what would work with the dimebuckers ?

Nice guitar.
The bridge pickup in the, the JB, will do well for Iron maiden, iced earth kinda stuff. Megadeth's Dave Mustaine and ex-Megadeth lead guitarist Marty Friedman uses the JB in the bridge as well.

if you want something thicker and heavier sounding, next best choice i would recommend is the Duncan Distortion.

i dont have any experience with the neck and middle pups in that guitar so i cant comment on it. but the bridge is definitely ok for metal.

Thanks Ken :fing25: Yeah I figured that pickup must have been good too since it was also in the top of the range Jackson solosits...
