help! pickup for epi jazz box

Hi, everybody!
I got a 1984 Epiphone Emperor AS, its a laminated body, mahogany neck, in a Gibson L-5 size. The wound(round wound) strings sound dull with the old pups Iam thinking to replace the pups but lack of information for Duncan pups in a hollow body guitar. Until now, i got a set of Seth Lover, C5, JB, JazzN, all for my LP. Recently iam listening to George Benson old recording and fell in love with his sound. And my taste is for clean balance warm jazz tone. Any recomendation? iam not duncan fanatics so iam open to any brand.

what do you have in there now? it seems you are using round wound rather than flat wound strings, right? are the strings old? are you using a nickel string or nickel plated steel?

there are some benedetto humbuckers that are beautiful sounding and might work great with that guitar. the b6 is a fantastic pup
