Help please, dist trembucker and hot rails?

I recently got the pickups i ordered: Duncan distortion trembucker and two hot rails. I`ve got 1tone 1vol and a five way selector from my old jackson dinky. I hav`nt found any chematics just right for this, i tried the one for 1 humbucker and two single coils, 1tone 1 vol and the five way switch https://forum.seymourduncan.com/images/attach/jpg.gif , instead of using the white leads from the singles I used the black hot ones from the hot rails, soldered the red and white together and soldered green and blank to ground on both, same with the trembucker. Did i do the right thing? Ive got some sound, but its very very noisy, and low output :blackeye:. maybe its just the grounding that`s abit out of wack? bad soldering maybe? I`ve installed mics before, but it was active emg`s, so i did`nt have to think much about grounding and stuff. I dont have very much experience, but I really wanna learn more, so i dont wanna just bring it to the store.

Oh, and, the hot rails, they look abit different. One has a base plate, the other one does`nt, and its taller. Are they exactly the same? If not, which one should be in neck/middle ?

All help very much appreciated!

The Schematic and the way you wired it are the right ones, good thinking :22:

It may be a ground problem or a cold solder Joint that´s causing your problem, but it would have to be on a "shared" part like one of the pots, the switch output or the jack.... I´d have to see it, sorry....

As far as the hotrails, the formfactor was changed a few months ago, so vo almost certainly got one old one and one new one...the one w/ the baseplate is the older formfactor, but the pickup within should be identical ;)

I`ll try re solder the ones that may be causing trouble, hopefully it will clean it up.

Thanks man :)

It worked! =D I`m working on grounding and stuff now, there`s still quite some noise with distortion on.
