Help please ID these 80s? pickups on Epiphone by Gibson S-500

Hi, 1st post!

I recently bought a very used nice 80s 'Epiphone by Gibson' metallic-ish black S-500 (I think that's the model) for 40 eur (with bag, cable, tuner, straplocks and even a Perri's Iron Maiden strap!)

The guitar is in quite good condition for a 1987? model (serial number is 71011665) except for 2 pickups (the HB and one SC) being open due to glue 'fossilization'... (see gore-ish pics below)

And all I know about it's past is that it was used in a music studio many years ago and that 'some luthier had the pickups changed'

Here's where I need help please, the HB is clearly different (hex poles) from the one shown in all this guitar model pictures I've seen, but no brand or marks shown on the back unfortunately!

And the single coils look huge to me! I've not found any pics of the 'Tech-II' SCs that were installed in the factory, so not really sure if the ones I have are original or not, tall and heavy they are for sure, some noise cancelling system maybe?

So it'd be great if you could share your thoughts and opinions on this so I can better understand what I have here.
HB and neck SC output is 8k, mid SC is around 7.7k

And the pics of course:

The guitar:

HB:

Any tips on what these pickups will be more than welcome!

Thanks

Those are cheap, nameless generic ceramic p'ups.

That looks like a Fat S-310 body with an S-600/900 neck. Most 310's had dot inlays and either the "Batwing" or hockey-stick headstock. The 600/900 series had the triangles and pointy headstock. The 310, (like my S210), had cheapy pickups.

Yes, the S-500 is what looked the closest to my one to me, can be a partscaster as you say
In any case, clearly the pickups are no big deal!
Thank you!

Somehow, I completely missed your first sentence, (and title), where you identify it as an S-500. Doh! :smack:
