Help pricing an amp. Crate V50 w/ 4x10 Cab

A buddy of mine has this little stack and was wanting to sell but didn't know how to price it.

It's about 14yrs old. Blonde Tolex. It's definitely a used piece. No tears, but it is dirty and scuffed.
The speakers sound fine. It may be in need of some general maintenance before long, but for now sounds good.
The only problem with it is the Channel Select sticks. If you use a foot pedal it bypasses that and the problem doesn't effect it. It's just when you use the switch on the amp itself.

He was wanting to get $500 out of it, but I think he's shooting kinda high.

Any ideas?

A little high, but not much lower than that, Those are pretty good amps.

Thanks.

I played on it for awhile. It sounded good. Kinda buzzy when it starts to distort. Not sure if that is characteristic of the amp, or due to the 10's. Anyway... I like it a lot.
It didn't have an FX loop though. It does have an input labeled (insert) though. What is that for?

i'm pretty sure the "insert" on Crate amps is like the effects return without the effects send. in my old band, i patched my guitar from the effects send of my Peavey Transtube to the insert on my friend's Crate combo.
