HELP! S.D. Seth Lover or DiMarzio Breed??

Hi I REALLLLY need help deciding on a pickup. I play a homemade strat with a heavy body yielding a balanced tone with a rosewood neck through a Fender 40 watt Hot Rod Deluxe tube amp. In the neck position, I have a DiMarzio PAF Pro. In the bridge, I either want a DiMarzio Breed or SD Seth Lover. For this position (bridge) I will usually play it in combination with the neck pickup instead of just playing the bridge pickup. I want a smooth tone that IS NOT trebly or overly bright, a tone where when I play hard it won't make my ears bleed. I really like the Seth Lover neck position (especially in 'dog blues' by marinblues which can be found in 'tips and clips' section of this site), but it seems as though most people don't use it for the bridge. Will the bridge position Seth combined with the PAF Pro neck pickup yield a nice smooth lead tone? What draws me to the Breed is that, unlike the PAF Pro, it is most often used as a bridge pickup, and also that it is supposedly a 'well balanced match' with the PAF Pro. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! BREED OR SETH??? ANY POSTS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Those two pickups are very different. "Well balanced match" can mean anything.

If you want a smooth lead tone which isn't very bright or highoutput, then check out the alnico pro II.

I have a Breed in the bridge of my strat as many here would probably already know. I like it alot. I think in a strat it is perfectly balanced and the highs are rolled off but they do bite quite a bit and the mids and lows are real smooth imo. I havnt tried this but i think the breed and paf pro together would sound excellent. I cant really say though if it is for you cause im not all that sure of wat styles of music you play though for me the breed is great.
