Help w/Reverse Stagger 5-way Switch....

Good eve all~ On the schematic posted, I need to know what the wiring should look like on a 5-way that has the opposite stagger... It's an HSS w/auto coil tap for the #2 position.

as long as you know which contacts are the common on each side it should be pretty easy to figure out

Don't think that's true in all cases.


OP try this:

You could just rotate the switch 180°

The stagger will still be opposite if you rotate the switch.

I'm guessing that the OP is talking about these two switches. They look almost identical, but have the common terminals on opposite sides.

the switch in the diagram is like the std 5 way in beau's post but with the physical placement of the contacts shifted as in the variation 5way.
