I want to make a toggle switch for a Splawn Quick Rod that allows me to switch between the clean and gain channel. I know that I can get a 1/4" cable, solder the tip and sleeve, and plug into pedal input B to make it switch to the clean channel. This got me thinking about cutting a 1/4" cable in 1/2 and then soldering each end to a mini toggle which I can use to manually switch between channels. What wires would I solder to which lead on the toggle to accomplish this?
