Help Wiring EMG 85 in the bridge..

Hi guys.. I bought an EMG 85 from someone on the board here .. Very nice guy.. and anyway, I'm thinking about just trying it in the bridge.. I have a two humucker guitar of course, but I was going to un hook the neck pup and just use the bridge EMG and connect it with the volume pot that came with it.. and the stereo jack only.. So basically I want to know how to use the Pickup, Volume Pot and Stereo jack.. Of course, I know how to mount all of them.. It's the wiring that has me. I know how to use a sodering iron too.. so here's my questions..

The pickup consists of this.
Pickup with a big white wire coming out of it and a red wire..

Volume pot with three tabs.. The white wire from the pup is connected / sodered to one of the tabs on the Volume pot..

Battery Clip with a red and black wire coming from it..

and a Stereo jack with a black and green wire protruding from it .. It has a black wire also.. So all three tabs have wires coming from it..

This pickup was at one time hooked up to a tone pot too, but I took that off as I don't want to use the Tone knob on this guitar with this pup.. and I want to keep the tone hooked up to my passive as it is now in case I want to take out the EMG..

Ok.. What wires do I connect to the Volume pot from the Pickup? White or Red?
Also, what wires do I connect to the Stereo jack? And where do I do so from? I mean do I connect wires from the Pickup to the stereo jack or from the volume pot or both? It would seem to me that it would be from the volume pot, but that's just a guess..

What do I connect the battery clip wires too? It looks like the black wire from the battery clip goes to the black wire on the stereo jack.. ? The red wire and the white wire are what have baffled me on the pup..

Thanks
Tim

Any help would be apprecaited greatly..

if you go to the emg website they have all the proper wiring diagrams. if you cant find em, email me. i used to have emgs and im sure i have the schematic somewhere but it might require a little digging.

the red wire is the battery connection, the braided shield is the ground, the interior white wire is the hot.
the reason the jack has three wires is one is ground, another is hot the third and the reason you use a stereo jack is to disconnect the battery from the circut.

Are you drunk? This is the 3rd 9 year old thread you've managed to drag back to the top!

Not in this case, they were all solder connections, which is kinda obvious if you read the OP.
