hey there

so i have a texas hot neck, fender texsas special RW middle, and an SSL5 bridge. im trying to get them all to get along. i just found out that the texas hot is reverse polarity so i switched the black and white wires and that finally got me closer but in now the noise canceling (between positions) arent working right.

so i think i need some professional help. can anybody give me a hand here? im pretty lost.

thanks-

does your SSL5 have 4 wires?
black,white,red,green,and a bare?

Re: help wiring my strat pickups? (texas hot with texas special and SSL5)

ok the SSL is gonna be reversed to the Fenders

so try putting the Fenders back to normal

( think that would be white to hot )

and reverse the SSL

if I am correct that may be white to hot also

you did say your middle was RW right?

oh I thought the Texas hot was a Fender

ok
BOTH Duncans need to be reversed

the Fender pickup should remain as original

ok thanks guys

so i did as suggested and now it sounds like a strat should again:1:. i played it last night until my fingers bled.
it sounds AWESOME!

but one problem:

there's no hum canceling in pos#2 neck/middle
but if this is the way its got to be i can live with it.
also i dribbled solder into my switch and when trying to get it out i kind of bent things up in there and now its barely working LOL so im going to replace it soon so that might be the problem.

thanks guys for all the help:)
