Help with 59 Model pickups

A friend gave me 3 Seymour Duncan pickups. I would like to get more info about them. Can anyone help? I know the 59 NL are neck pickups. I don’t know much about the other pickup. I would like to put a set in a guitar. Would any one like to trade one for a bridge pickup? Or would anyone like to buy 2 of them?

Nice! You could install them both of them on your guitar with no problem, a la real P.A.F. style!
Keep the old ones if possible, if not... sell them! They're great pickups!

PS. Would like to know who ''L'' is!

The SH1 is also a ‘59 and the “N” is for neck

Thanks for all the comments. What is the difference between a neck pick up and the bridge pickup? I have sent one into SD for repotting and a new cover. I was going to buy a new bridge pick up. But could I use one of these be used for the bridge or should I trade for an older bridge pick up to match the age?

Re: Help with 59 Model pickups

The bridge is usually just a bit hotter. However, plenty of people have used them interchangeably.

Two necks in a Les Paul are great to replicate the sounds of Jimmy Page. If you put the covered one in the neck, you even catch the look. Just a thought.
