help with a set of 59s

have a set of 59s was thinking about putting into a 2004 higway one strat,maple neck fretboard,i will have to rerouter the body as it is 3 single routing. will routing screw up shielding since body is factory shielding paint?or since using humbuckers do i not need to worry about the shielding?

where ever you rout the painted wood, you wont have shielding. with buckers it shouldnt me much of an issue but if you have some shielding paint you could slop some in there.

'59s in a strat can be a great tone. jimmy herring used to use that setup for a while and i always loved that tone
