Help with my LPB! It doesnt work..

I built this today, but it doesnt work. Only the bypass works, but the effect doesnt. Im not sure if i am using the correct switch. Is there a way to check if the switch is the correct one?

Your switch looks to be O.K. If you have a DMM you can test contunuity and rule out the switch. I'm thinking the problem is somewhere in your wiring or layout. It's very hard to tell looking at a breadboard layout. You can save yourself a lot of grief by getting a PCB from www.generalguitargadgets.com or try there layout.

Im nt sure if its the correct type of swtich im using, I cud be using a switch meant for another purpose, Maybe on-off. Im nt sure.

I cant find an LPB's PCB at GGG.

Go to the forum, read the "What to check if it doesn't work" thread.

One thing I will mention is to make sure the pinout on the transistor is correct. Also, ALWAYS socket them. It's much easier to change them if they fry, and they can fry pretty easily with a soldering iron.

Also, build the audio probe at the above site. You'll find the problem in a heartbeat.

Your switch is fine, BTW. The rest of it is impossible to tell from the pics without a schematic and wiring diagram used for reference. Again, diystompboxes.com can help.
