Help with my neck pickup

I bought the jazz neck pickup for my ltd ec256, followed the diagram from the web for 2 hum 2 vol and 1 tone push pull, but after i turn the gain on my amp, the neck pickup switch to clean, even if i turn the volume knob and the volume on my amp to max!
I checked the soldering and the wiring and everything seems to be ok.
What should i do?

Not a fan of the jazz neck, you have any experience with it in other guitars? Is it just way too clean for you? What kind of music are playing?

Need to see the diagram you followed and your actual wiring.

My guess is either you have a bad solder joint, or you wired the volumes or the tone in a way that it’s acting as a second volume taking your level down.

How are the colors of pickup hookup wires and what color did you connect to what parts of the electronics. My guess is you did not connect the white and red.

Welcome to the forum! I am sorry you are having trouble with your Jazz. Pics of your wiring will help us diagnose what is wrong, and include the diagram you are working from. This does indeed sound like something is up here.

I think then he’d have no sound from the neck at all, no?
