Help with price

Fender Highway One Telecaster electric guitar. Made in the U.S.A. Immaculate, like new condition; pickguard still has protective, plastic film encasing it. Not a single blemish on this instrument. Has the Fender 60th diamond anniversary badge on the reverse side of the headstock. Includes deluxe Fender gig-bag that came with the guitar. Even have the original tags is on it.

I am wondering how much I should let this go for, I'm kinda stumped. Can you guys help me out?

Re: Help with price

I got a highway one strat for $600 new a couple of years ago, and out of curiosity looked it up on the internet. Turns out that was a good deal but if I would have bought one used off the internet or craigslist, I could have gotten it for around $500. Considering the condition and fact the tags are still on your guitar, I would say you should be able to get at least $600 for one, but it might not sell to fast at that rate.

Re: Help with price

if it was a gift then I would put its value as the price of a single friendship

Yeah I havent been using it & would like to buy a new acoustic with the money from it. It does have a value to me for getting it as a gift from family. But I don't think 700 would fly. Where I am living, it cost a 1000$ or more for this

Re: Help with price

Yeah it's terrible pricing on instruments here. Very ridiculous . I would never buy a guitar here. A Marshall Mg half stack sells for 1200-1300. While I got mine online for 800 new.

WHAT PART OF CANADA DO YOU LIVE IN? NUNAVUT?

Seriously, I know we Canucks see higher prices in local music stores than can be found on musicians friend or guitar centre, but there is Long & McQuade and they keep prices pretty close to the average USA dealer's price. If you don't have a L&M in your area you need to call one up and have them ship to you.

For The Record I live in Ontario and have never seen a Marshall MG stack list for over a grand.

Re: Help with price

My local shop sells new highway one's for $650 USD... used one is probably about $400 USD. No matter what the condition is used is used. If it was a gift I'd probably keep it... karma and all that good stuff.
