help with single coils!!!!!!!!!!

i just got a 1994 hamer daytona(on the cheap! ) with ash body and maple neck i want 3 single coils that can get me a nice bluesy/rockin tone ie. eric gales/robin trower/billy gibbons/srv/coco montoya/walter trout/ect thanks i know humbuckers but not single coils !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd go with a set of the Antiquity Texas Hots. Or a set of the SSL-1's for a brighter vintage tone and maybe a hotter bridge pickup for solos. Those are my two favorite Duncan sets.

APS-1's or if you want more get the SSL-1's.
The Ants are also very very good.

If u want single coil pickups theres one place to go, http://www.kinman.com , I have a set of Avn woodstocks and those are great for more variety but if want pure blues the obviouse choice is the blues set

I'm curious ... does it have the original pickups?

I think they likely got it right the first time with APS's - those are well suited for that ax! Maybe a Twangbanger or SSL-Custom in the bridge

the Antiquity suggestion would be a nice upgrade, though, for that "ultimate vintage" tone
