Help with some new bass pickups......

I have a Fender Highway 1 Precision Bass and I want some new pickups for it. I play pop-punk/punk and I like to have a bright tone and good snap while still having some low end. I was looking at some Duncan 1/4 pounders but i wanted to know if you could reccomend me some other ones that will give me the sound im looking for. Thank you for helping.

What is it you find lacking in the standard stock pickups? String choice is also important... what is it you use?

for pop (punk) and big bottom with a nice top end, ill think youll really like the qp. ive put it in almost every bass ive owned that used a p style pup. i even have a single coil p bass qp stack
