I like the look of the checkerboard 'guard on the WD site... Combine that with chrome knobs (white pearl caps) and a white top-hat switch-top and it's a whole different beast.

I should start asking advice on what people like better

Bump. Any opinions on the two styles? I'm very much leaning toward the abalone, unless someone can convince me otherwise (or suggest a different style, of course).

At some point I should actually go ahead and buy something, for crying out loud... I've lifted the guard, and found out the body is routed for a soapbar... Now there's a voice in my head saying "put in a P90 or PhatCat, do it, do it".

Anyone want to either dissuade or encourage this voice? (And if encouraging, what should I drop in the Bridge? 'Bucker, single, tapped/split...?)
