Help with the BUZZZzzzz...

K, so I just completed my first "real" pickup job. After the nightmare of putting a JB Jr. into a guitar with S-1 switching (hell) it seemed pretty straight forward. However, after it was all ready to go, I plugged it in and theres this buzz/hum going on. Its on all pickup selections, gets louder the more gain/volume ive got, and goes away if I touch any metal part connected to the wiring with my hand.
It's an SH-6N and a TB-6 with a single volume and 3-way blade switch in an american deluxe v-neck strat. And I checked the main ground, that didnt seem faulty. Any help= greatly appreciated.

Re: Help with the BUZZZzzzz...

You should have ground wires in the following locations:

Pickups to pot casings
Pot casings to each other (V->T->T)
Pot casings to trem claw/bridgeplate (if non trem)
Pot casings to output jack
Shielding tape/foil on underside of pickguard touching strip of shielding in body cavity which has a wire to the pot casings (can be soldered tot he shield or heavily shield-taped or screw-mounted to the shielding in the cavity.
