I just ordered a blender and 59trembucker to put in my strat. I called one guitar tech the other day and he was not familar with blender pots. Could you guys help me by giving me an explanation of what a blender pot does and how to wire in strat for the neck and bridge? The bridge pickup, 59tb has a 4 conductor cable on it. I also plan to switch the single tone to be a master tone. I would need a wiring diagram or explanation for that too.
At another thread lew said "It's easy. The Blender Pot replaces one tone control and comes with two wires already attached to it. Attach one wire to where the neck pickup connects to the 5 way switch and the the other wire to where the bridge pickup connects at the switch.
That leaves you a master volume and master tone. Connect the tone control to the middle terminal of the volume control...same terminal that feeds the output jack.
That's all there is to it.

For this explanation I'm assuming lew is talking about the Fralin blenders he sells. Is this correct for what I want to do and all I need to tell the guitar tech, so he can install everything correctly?
I'm just checking with you guys before everything is installed because I don't want him do more work than necessary, as I'm on a low budget.
Thanks for the help guys,
David
