i just did it for a laugh, those over dubs are really obvious, the tones too distorted and i missed the high 15th fret bend twice...


lol i was just chuffed i found the "moog" synth thing on cubase

its well sick, you can put a piano in on it and do an arpeggio and it sound like those mad dance tracks :/

what the **** was that **** at the beginning? but the distorted sound is nice.. if you can distinguish it from allt he crackling lol


btw, in your metal riff and a solo, the harmony at the beginning, before the heavy riffing part, what pup is that? i love that tone, very beefy

BLARG, overload clipping! :saeek: The beginning was weird as hell, but that is one niiiice distortion you had there. It'd be even cooler without the crackling though.

it almost sounds like the Zakk Wylde version on Purple Haze, or like thats what you were going for, i think the zakk wylde version is crazy and u had a similar idea

i have a funny feeling my mobile phone was to blame for some of the crackling, and the fact i had to save it as an mp3, import the mp3 and up the volume twice, guess i over did it (bloody recorded at half volume...)



yeah it was kinda loosely based on the zakk wylde version

biu, is BLARG a good word :S?

Davey, unless i say otherwise, everythings my gordon smith . the reason its so beefy is due to a high action, 10s (they feel heavier due to the action) and the guitar itself is quite beefy anyway love the thing its really versitile

Yeah . . the first 16 seconds are digital wasteland . . . after that, its pretty good guitar riffs . . . Hendrix or not. Its fun to listen to.

Can you post the settings you used for the VAmp2? I may be confusing threads but I'm pretty sure it was this one you used the vamp for.

i dont have a Vamp and have'nt ever record with one sorry man, i use line 6 guitar port for all my recordings

Hey nuntius, I liked it... very trippy and VERY weird. I still can't get over your killer tone on the "upbeat rock" thing in C#... awesome tone.
