Can't remebember what songs he played on that talk show, but I remember that SG sounded AWESOME in Jimi's hands!!! I had a HUGE case of g.a.s. at the time for a late sixties SG Custom, and I think it's starting to come back!:damnit: :laugh2:

I also saw a pic of him playing on a Jaguar !

Looks like he tried all of the major ones back in the day !

It's not really that surprising. Hendrix was a total gearhead, probably more so than most of us right here on this board. Can you imagine if he had lived to se the internet and places like this!! He would have tried every crazy idea he read here, and he'd probably have a post count 4 times more than anybody!!!

Thank you, THAT'S what it was!! I could see his face, but I couldn't remeber his #$^&@ng NAME!!!! I kept thinking Tom-something. Awesome clip. Yeah, I'm def gassing for an SG Custom again!!! I was wrong, tho, I thought it was a lefty!! Still cool, tho.

Ive seen those pictures before, they were in one of my guitar mags i think. Its pretty cool to see old pictures like that. from back in the day.
