That is the kind of band that will only have guys in the front row... and yes that tone is nice.

YUP, that Dutch-born Canadian, really know how to handle her SG's.

Lemmy is not impressed. He has wrote this song a hundred times, and done it better.

That said - I dig it!

Re: Here is a Marshall tone that i can listen to all day long.

Good tone. Sloppy playing. I prefer the tone and guitar interplay on the second tune.

Been done a million times since the 70s. Be able to play a little, be tight with your band, and plug an SG or LP into a cranked Marshall and voila... you'll have tone every bit as good as this (and hopefully better chops).

Btw... when I'm in the mood for something with a more "rootsy" vibe than the stuff I normally listen to... I listen to stuff like Brother Cane, Blackberry Smoke, etc. Great, organic, old school tones there in a tighter, less bar-band, drunk-off-your-A$$ kind of way than this. At any rate, to each his or her own. I was just hoping for something a little more polished when I clicked on the thread.

Blackberry Smoke has those Nu-oldschool tones... The tones in the OP are real... Drunk, sloppy, DGF style. BBS probably tries too hard, but the above cats... Just do it. Just sayin.

There is something to be said about just sayin Ef it and playing... Lots of bands worry too much about their gear and it's like a bad late nite info-mercial about stuff that they make out to be way harder than it aught to be... Blackberry Smoke reminds me of that.

Then look into The Quireboys, Black Mountain and Black Crowes.

<--- amateur recording, but still a more polished band as a whole.

I feel like that more and more these days !

Then we have bands like this, who is more on the rock'y side of things, but still melodic in a rootsy kinda way . . . well, kinda ;)

^ riffs, muscle car and a hot blonde... Boom.

Re: Here is a Marshall tone that i can listen to all day long.

Far out man, groovy, cool and righteous. I hear Foghat, Molly Hatchet, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent..........Ya its not slick its raw and rowdy like Black oak Arkansas except the chick isn't yelling "Go Jim Dandy go go go" The ladies are slinging guitars and rockin along side the boys. Kudo's to the ladies. This is fun Saturday night out music. If I want to get tipsy and let it all hang out I would listen to this 24/7 over Coldplay. If Cesar asked I would say....thumbs up!

p.s. Go to Hell -song is great funny stuff
