Sure. But if the fuse is blown now and the amp works after a replacement you still don't know why the fuse blew in the first place.

And since you don't know that you cannot estimate how likely it is for whatever blew the fuse to come back more regularly.
True, but it does at least indicate whether the trouble is something that's tripping the fuse or something more broken.

Even pulling the fuse out and testing it for continuity without replacing it is something.
