Hello to all!
I am Sotos Bakas from Athens,Greece and recently I published my first original solo(no overdubs) acoustic guitar song and performance video and thought to share it with you. :)

Really, really nice work. Sounds amazing, dude! A style of guitar I've never really pursued, but always wanted to! great clip, dude!

Great recording, and I love the chord voicings too (and the obvious Opeth influence :D )

Really good stuff. I'm not into that percussive playing technique but what good is good. How do you like your Taylor? :)

I admit that I liked it so much better than the Sam Westphalen geetar percussive videos. He is a too clowny performer and when he starts to sing it ruins everything :)

Sam I believe is really good,is just matter of taste I guess. :)
To be honest with you about my Taylor or any other commercial-factory brand guitar, I don't believe they are that good.
For first guitar is great but if somebody takes guitar playing very seriously I think much better in my opinion a custom built one from a luthier.Wish I can afford one someday. :)

Sure, Sam is a helluva player but way too goofy somehow. Any time I see his videos I feel as I'm watching a comedy that I can't laugh at all.

Yep a custom guitar finetuned to yourself is the thing, still, Taylor and Martin are the top of the factory production acoustics in my opinion. I can tell good things only, I recorded some great tracks with them. Matons are not available around my place but watching / listening to Tommy Emmanuel I can easily believe they are killer too.

The song was nice and your playing is great. I would put a build up somewhere near the end of the song to give it a bit of a story pop. I can't say exactly how but it's just my opinion. Keep up the good work. Going to subscribe to your channel.

Necropolo are you from Hungary?I have collaborated with some very good musicians here in Holland from there,they are excellent people too. :)
Yeah Maton sound nice.Most of the people in the acoustic scene here in Holland have Maton guitars,they love as well Tommy obviously :D.Just something on these guitars don't fit me,shape wise and sound wise ,I would better go for a Lowden in this category,more suitable for me but again me personally I would rather collect more money and wait to take a better one.

Yep man I live there. It is great to hear that you know some good folks from this place. Thousands left this country after the eco crapola in 2008. Over 200 of my friends around. After that number I stopped counting :)

I hear ya on grabbing some everyone's fav axe and find it unfitting. It happens to me all the time with fancy electric geetars. For all logic and reason I should love Fender guitars for instance. But any time I grab one it feels just like dating with a beauty queen while I am crazy for her "ugly duckling" little sister called Squier :)

One of best saxophone players I know around here,he recorded the saxophones for my EP,is from Hungary.
And I get what you mean about guitars.Is just taste and what feels right for you,that's what matters. : )
