I listened yesterday I don't have comments because it was difficult to hear your contribution. No offense intended.

My contribution is that rattling sound behind the horns.

Thanks.

Well, it´s just a simple horn arrangement with some rattling guitar sounds behind.

Hey! This is an interesting piece! Honestly, I found it very hard to pick out an actual guitar part, so it is hard for me to comment there. But I would say this would make a cool soundtrack!

It´s called Arkhangelsk, and is meant to give the impressions I had the first time I landed there in late November. It was dark and ice cold and a thin layer of snow was blowing over the airport. I hopped in a taxi, a black smokey Volga from the early 70s, and it drove through an area of huge and dark industry ruins; the remaining parts of a collapsed and outmoded industrial society.
The picture for the tune is the highest wood tower ever, which was built in Arkhangelsk by a criminal construction director before he went to jail some years ago. It was recently taken down by the authorities, because it was not stable and a threat for the neighbouring houses and people in general passing by. I had some persons from Arkhangelsk to listen to the tune, and one said: "Yes, you have perfectly catched the idea of how it is to live in Arkhangelsk". Don´t know about that, though. I believe it´s worse.

The tune is definitely interesting. I can see how it would covey the coldness and feeling of the city. As a result of this song, I took the opportunity to look up you hometown. It's a really neat read and it sounds like a cool city. I have a fondness for cold, isolated places. I went to college in Gunnison, CO for 4 years. Often back then Gunnison would have record or close to record lows in the country. I really like cold weather and mountains.

Oh, it´s not my hometown, I´m from Sweden. I just had a work at the university there, and therefore have been visiting the city some 7-8 times the last years. But it´s cold there, the wind blows from the White sea, and it can make one shiver even in September. The feeling of a industrial society falling apart hits me quite hard every time I walk around in the town. The streets are in bad shape, as is the houses, and many of the people. Still its a big town, with half a million citizens, and a university, so perhaps they will make it prosper in the future.
Gunnison seems to be a cold place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunnison,_Colorado

Adrian, thanks for the educational info! I learned something.. Also, it really does fit your music piece. The tune was very fitting.. I appreciate the uniqueness of it and how it captured the mood.
