Here's my new board build

I decided I needed a larger board to add my wireless and my vocal pedal on. And then I fell down a rabbit hole and ended up building an entire new board with a GigRig G2 switcher and all new custom cables. I used Squareplug connectors and soldered it all myself. I built the momentary switch box. I also built that little box with the two toggle switches. It's basically an AB box to flip between my guitar cable in and the wireless in. The second switch is to turn the power on/off on my wireless receiver so that I don't have to leave it running when I'm not using it (I only run it at gigs). But it's all on my board and wired up so no more fussing with patch cables and power connectors on stage. I've got everything run through a patch bay on the front of the board. So I have guitar in, amp outs 1 & 2 (stereo), XLR in and out for my vocal pedal, and a TRS out to control my amp reverb and trem, and then also a Neutrik locking power connector.

I hope none of those cables decides to die at a gig...that would be a nightmare to diagnose in between songs! But it certainly looks cool!

Actually it wouldn't be too hard. Every pedal is on it's own loop. It wouldn't be difficult to track down which loop is misbehaving.

Wow... looks very high tech. What do those little isolators on the bottom do?

It's all part of how the GigRig Generator power supply system works. The main PS has one out: 9v pushing 5 amps. You then use (and purchase) all those individual modules to break up the power into what you need. So Distributors are like splitters, then each Isolator provides 4x isolated 9v outs at 135ma each. Then you've got your higher power stuff being run by the Timelord providing 550ma, and the SupaNova which provides 12v.

It's really complicated and took a whole lot of planning. It's basically doing everything a Voodoo Labs or Truetone power supply would do just in a more a la carte sort of way.

Every pedal is always on! They're all controlled via the switcher on the lower side. So I can create patches with whatever combinations of pedals I need. It allows me to switch multiple effects on or off with one click instead of tap dancing

Yeah -I totally get that -it's the switcher controller spacing that I was concerned about -they are maybe 5/8" or 3/4" inch narrower than the Strymon spacing on your board -which I am familiar with -which is already at the hairy edge of my shoe size (12.5) -You wearing cockroach kicker boots? or got much smaller feet I'd imagine.
 
Hey PTM, since you are at advanced level Pedal Board integration level -I have another suggestion for you.... I buy these fatter stickier rubber feet from Lowes/Home Depot or order on Amazon that I epoxy over the hard rubber ones that are pop-rivet affixed like the ones in your pics and are standard on most pedal boards. They make it where the board is wont slide on a hard stage at all and with a slightly wider footprint -make a larger board more stable.

For anyone wondering about going to a switcher, one thing I didn't bargain for when I started was the cost of cables and power. The PS that I'd been thinking of buying was no longer going to cut it. So I had to go with this system and it wasn't cheap to order all those different modules from GigRig. And even thought I made my own soldered cables, when you have to make like 30 of them that's 60 connector ends - plus wire. That adds up quick. It was still way cheaper to build my own than buy off the shelf patch cords, but it was the scale of how many that really drove the cost up.
