Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

i really need to move this killer Heritage...GAS has struck once again and this H 170 has to go...feel free to make offers, but please, no trades

Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

good golly that thing is pretty lol and the creme p-rails would be sweet! wish i didnt have ot pay for school... but FREE BUMP

Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

oh yeah...how are you liking it dude?

It sounds as sweet as it looks bro! Even though it doesn't have Duncans. If I get time away from my acoustic gig I've been spending it either that 140 or my Bullet with the P-Rail. That's what got me thinking about combining them.

I bet the tones you can get from this 170 are endless!

Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

If the job I just applied for comes through for me, I am going to own this guitar. Mark my words.

Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

Hey brent I hope you are enjoying the Jazz neck pickup you bought from me earlier!

I am curious though, as to the tone of the p-rails in the bridge...im thinking about one for my les paul...i know the rail and the p-90 when split sound good but what is the series humbucker sound like? is it warm enough or does it have too many highs? is it really hot? sound good clean? are there any other pickups it reminds you of, like a JB or something? sorry to jack your thread ;]

Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

creme or black p-rails?

Black. It would get black knobs too, and i'd probably replace the switches with neck volume and tone controls, put a new 3-way behind the knobs (like on a Gibson The Paul) and do the Jimmy Page wiring mod to have all the P-Rails options.

Hey man!!!

that pup is going in my next Heritage project..the guitar is in the paint shop right now...i'm sure it will sound great!!!

the P-rail in HB mode in the bridge is not super hot. i would call it warm, not overly aggressive. it sounds great clean! compared to another....hhuumm, not sure??

you have a plan!!!:bling:

Re: Heritage h 170 w/ p-rails ohsc

Yeah that guitar is the coolest shape I've seen with the pickups I want. It's just not a good time financially for me, unless I can get to work like TOMORROW...

dude, i completely understand.

i was in a motorcycle accident Oct 6 2007....i have been off work the whole time. i now have a titanium plate and 10 screws on my left collar bone and pain like you wouldnt believe.

i know this isnt the best day and age for selling guitars, but i have to give it a shot....the thing is, whoever buys this, when the economy gets better, will make a killing on this thing if they ever sell it.

i hate to sell it so cheap, but the mortage co. doesnt care if i had an accident:banghead:

i know things will get better and there will be other guitars....i just hope that whoever buys this thing enjoys it as much as i have.:)
