I find myself longing for another semi-hollow, and i currently have 4 150s and 1 140, so it is time to diversify

Up for grabs....

This super rare Slaughter 150 features a highly flamed trans red top, Golden 50s, Grovers and block inlays. Very minor fret wear. This guitar is a solid 9 and only has a couple very minor dings and some light buckle wear....for a 18 yr old guitar, it is fantastic! Original HSC. All stock, as far as i know. It had a G tailpiece when i got it and put the original Shaller back on.

$1350 PP and shipped to your door

Re: Heritage Mark Slaughter H 150 RARE!!!

Sweet guitar. One questi9on though, Mark Slaughter had a signature series Heritage guitar? That's pretty funny if that is the case as he never seemed like he ever even played the guitar he was holding, more like posing with it.

On the same tangent, they might as well have made a Brett Michaels signature guitar, at least he plays the acoustic parts to Every Rose Has It's Thorn (as cheesy as that song is).

Good luck with the sale.

Re: Heritage Mark Slaughter H 150 RARE!!!

Mark actually played his H 150s....but he always seemed to play Fenders on MTV

Re: Heritage Mark Slaughter H 150 RARE!!!

MARK is actually a pretty ****ed good guitar player.

i worked at a music store with him in las vegas YEARS before he was
the mark slaughter we all know today. it was ted vesely music on charleston
blvd in vegas about 1980-82.

he studied jazz guitar with one of the teachers there and is a good sight reader to
from what i remember.

he had a band called XCURSION [spel?] in vegas about that time that was pretty good.

mark is actually a better player then most of the guys he has hired out to play "lead"
in his bands. thats whats odd to me.

from what i remember, he bought his first heritage from vesely music while we were working there. as far as i know, we were the only store in vegas at that time that sold heritage guitars.

and he has played them ever since.

hey Brent, if you're still interested in knowing about Mark and the Heritage connection, I'm the only other guy on this planet that can tell you the story.

Whoa! This one's an oldie. Fortunately, Brent (and his mesmerizing signature) is still around. You might want to take this to private messages, though, as this is an OOOOOOOLD for sale thread. Or, you could share with us all and start your own thread in The Guitar Shop (since this is actually about guitars).

Re: Heritage Mark Slaughter H 150 RARE!!!

I would like to hear the story. PM me or post here. Thanks.

Like I said above I think a whole new thread would be a good idea. Easier to find.
