1. A beautiful custom one-off, employee build, 2008 Heritage Prospect Custom. This guitar is done up in a fabulous OSB (old style burst) finish. Great looking woods all around and the gold hardware, gold Grover tuners, a classy flamed/bound wood pickguard, and gold SD 59 pickups really go will with this burst! This Kalamazoo classic features a one piece maple neck with an oil finish...is smooth as silk and very fast! The back of the headstock has Marv Lamb, JP Moats and Jim Derlou's signatures along with the completetion date! It apperars that someone had installed Schaller tuners at one point, then went back to Grovers. It comes with the original Heritage case. The body is starting to show some early signs of checking and the heel joint has a little light nitro checking as well. There is NO fret wear at all!
This guitar looks to have seen very little play time, by the looks of the frets and pickguard. The action is low, the neck is a medium C carve....this is a tone monster that will conform to just about any style of music you throw at it!
