Hey - Anyone run an RP50/100/150 in the loop

As a super cheap programmable ambiance tool? You know, for delay, chorus, reverb etc….


I was thinking of picking up a cheeping off the bay just to program sounds for my metal band. I'm good with my Marshall distortion front end. Just looking to emulate 30 80's tunes fast cheap and easy with different delays and swirls and such.

Yeah I run a GNX in the loop off mine

Turn off amp and speaker sims
Should have pedal only mode

I have also ran full on pedal into just the return
Say if you want a different flavor amp or such

Check just get one
if for nothing else
for the tuner

Do the delay/chorus/verbs have all the usual parameters?

level delay repeats
depth / rate / level
verb type / level

Ace, I think it's a really good idea, if you're going for something from eBay, to know what the model has before you bid on it. I always thought the amp sims on the 50/100 blew ass, so it's worth verifying that you can turn them off, and that the rest of the thing does what you want.
