Nope, don't believe so. They don't do A/B boxes. Fulltone's site has instructions on how to make one, so I bet you it was from there.

Ding...ding......ding! You are correct.

ClosedEye: If you order one go to www.mouser.com to get the parts. They are cheap and show up really quick after you pay. They will probably work best for you too because i am pretty sure they are in Texas. Also i got my switch off ebay for about $8 less than you can find them online. It's fun building them. i made one for myself and one just to sit around and look at I guess!!

Guitarist: I can't remember the exact amount, but I ordered the parts from Mouser to make 2 and that cost $35ish and the switches on eBay were $12.99 each and I bought two. Also I forgot to order 2 of the Switchcraft jacks for some reason.

Also keep in mind that when the Hammond enclosure arrives you have to drill all of your own holes. It does not come pre drilled. If anyone decides to build one and needs help for some reason let me know and I'll be glad to help. I can give you the exact drill bit sizes for all of the holes as well so you don't have to guess and be just slightly off like I did on my first build.

This may be helpful since the part numbers on Fulltone's site are old. These are the new part numbers for the A/B box part from Mouser. Don't forget your resistors like I did :smack: Also I highly recommend going to Radio Shack or even Mouser to get the LED holders like this one. The ones from the Fulltone recommendation suck IMO!

Heck I'll go as far as to build it for you if you want!! i enjoy doing it for some crazy reason!!!

What do I win? Your Celtic Deluxe?

:no1:

:smack: :laugh2:

I'd like to build one of these, just for practice. My real use for it would be as an amp switcher, but it would pop. And I want ABY.

Sorry bro, but I used the celtic out last night and it just continues to make me smile when I crank it and squeeze that Tweedy goodness out of it!!

Also I just don't understand the whole popping thing people keep asking about!? this thing is completely silent with absolutely no popping!!

Re: Hey DIYer's Please critique my wiring on this A/B box I built....

A lot of people have told me that most A/B boxes will pop if you use them for running amps, especially when you're really cranking them. Did you try it with your amps?

If anyone can figure this out: http://www.geofex.com/FX_images/oaspltr.gif go for it. Dual amp goodness!

Re: Hey DIYer's Please critique my wiring on this A/B box I built....

yeah i've used both of the ones I have made with my amps with no problem.

Re: Hey DIYer's Please critique my wiring on this A/B box I built....

Very nice, B Bent.

Question: why the stereo jacks? Any benefit?

Re: Hey DIYer's Please critique my wiring on this A/B box I built....

Those stereo out are history.I replaced them last night with Switchcrafts. I didn't order enough mono jacks so I went to the local Radio Shack and that's all they had. After comparing the quality of the RS ones to the Switchcrafts I decided there was no contest.By the way cvansickle where 'bouts in the Atl are you bro?

Yeah I know what you mean about Robert! I am glad that camera angles at rock concerts have gotten a little less focused on kielbasa sausages stuffed down dudes trousers!! :chairfall

Re: Hey DIYer's Please critique my wiring on this A/B box I built....

Fulltone switches are the best I've found, I have a pedal board with five switches wired and not one of them pops, how long this will last is anyone's guess but so far they all switch cleanly.
