Will I still retain the 'bell tone in the #2 notch position or would the Scorcher be too overpowering?

i think the scorcher is the highest wound pickup at an amazing 24k or somethin like that.........a JB is wound at 16k to put that in perspective...

so my answer, no , i highly doubt the bell tones will remain there

I'll agree with flank on this, after all, he's a Toneologist... ;-)

However, you could split the Scorcher and you'd get some of that bell tone back. But, if you really want bell tone, go with a trio of Snarks.
