Screamer. I sent to someone to make some clips. It's not crazy loud but loud enough. Doesn't flub out like a tweed deluxe. Like a tweed deluxe it goes from clean to gain quickly and then just more gain. The tremolo is a great addition. I got the plate voltage on the 6V6's down to 380v and it really came into its own. Wall voltage now vs then.

Still much closer to Tweed than Blackface? Would you say that the 6G3 circuit brings out the mids in the 6V6s more like EL34s?

Definitely mid strong but bass sounds great even when you crank it. I've got a Weber 12A125 in it.

that seems to be consensus. there are old videos of zz top and billy is plugged into a brown deluxe and it sounds like a marshall. this is before his rack of doom with the eq and stuff to make everything sound like pearly

I was challenged to get my logo on it. Normally I'd have just had my trophy shop guy cut me a faceplate but I really wanted to use the heavy metal one like the originals. My regular black/silver or black/gold badges didn't look right.

So I had my trophy guy but me a cream badge that matches the color of the barrel knobs.
