I've tried both the MASS and the THD Hot Plate. Both were excellent. The MASS is less expensive, and Ted Weber emailed me back Right Away to answer my questions. Pretty impressive.

I like the concept of the weber mass also. It acts like a high load speaker where other attenuators have big resistors that need to be cooled.

Not to be picky, but the Weber MASS is a speaker - it just doesn't have a cone to push air.
