Hi Output & Hi Gain vs Low/Med Output & Hi Gain

I used to use JB's and Customs a lot, and while I still like them (especially the CC), I absolutely love the SH-55's in my shearaton and the PG in my Lester. They can go from jazz and blues all the way to modern chunk if you have the right amp, with the PGb doing an especially good job with the heavier sounds.

guys.....
i preffer Medium/High output pickups.
because.... with full distortion your pickups may not hold all that distortion.....with a low output.....
i preffer it with Moderated/high output.
NOT TOO High because of the danger of MUDDYNESS.

Everyone was commenting at our show how brutal some of the tones were during our set....and I ran the stock Les Paul with Burstbucker Pros. The only difference is the 500k pots and .022 caps.

Definately like low output these days. My old amps sound much better when they do the work w/o pickups driving it too hard.
