Highway 1's $350!

I just got back from Guitar Center where they're selling Highway 1 Teles for $350, and Highway 1 Jazz basses for $400. Those prices are much below the $599 and $629 normal. The H1 Teles sound and play amazing. If I had found one with a rosewood fretboard ... it'd be mine. Just giving yall a heads up.

Dang you Yanks are so lucky,$400 (about €300) for a Highway 1 tele , They go for about €800 (about $1000) Here...

Yeh europe prices suck..But the Place www.gak.co.uk is pretty alright €700 isnt bad for a DSL50 new, There about €1000 in Ireland..

The sales guy said it was this weekend only. But it was also on specific colors which makes me think Fender might discontinue them, blonde and some orange color.

That's the same sale that I got my Highway 1 and Normans in Denver this spring. $350 or right about there....only the blond and teal, but so what. Those are great guitars and at that price an absolute steal. I put $90 dollars worth of pickups (custom shop 54's), and a $12 aluminum pickguard shield to eliminate the noise...so for $400 I've got a guitar that sounds better than an American Deluxe, with a lighter lacquer finish to boot. The neck is an american standard neck with rolled fingerboard.

Anyone looking for a Tele ought to snap one of those up. I may go to my local GC and put a bunch on my credit card and sell them on fleabay.

Those Jimmy Vaughan Mexi strats have great necks as well. I think the Highway 1's and Jimmy Vaughan Sig. strats are the best deals by Fender.

I have no idea why some GCs have them and some don't. All I know is the one in North Attleboro, MA has em.

Man, if I had the extra cash right now I'd get one!! I've been thinking of getting a tele ALOT lately. Ahhh.........maybe I'll catch the deal again, I hope.
