Hiwatts

Being a huge fan of the Who and 70's Floyd i have always wanted a good Hiwatt. Saddly the Hiwatts Pete Townshend and Gilmour used were custom made or heavily customized versions that were not for sell to the public. The UK Hiwatt www.musicground.com company has been making PT and DG signature models for a few years now and could not sell them in North America as the USA Hiwatt company had the right to the North American Market. I have heard now there has been a deal between the 2 companies and we can now buy these Signature, made in the UK Hiwatt Heads.

Has Anyone Seen them in North America Yet?

The PT model has been Gain and volume boosted, and the EQ is completely different then the old Hiwatt Custom 100's.

I wouldn't say the PT Hiwatt's EQ section was completely different, but the mid control was neutered.
